HONE YOUR CAMERA ACTING SKILLS IN A ONE-OF-A-KIND WORKSHOP FOR ACTORS & DIRECTORS

When it comes to the art of acting on camera, it's not solely about what happens within the actor that matters; it's also about how it is conveyed to the audience and the degree of purpose, specificity, and creative freedom involved. The understanding of camera as a medium, of its intimate and technical dynamics, is what distinguishes a compelling performance from a forgettable one.

Description

The workshop prepares actors to actualize the director’s vision by providing them with efficient and pragmatic acting techniques, along with an understanding of camera’s dynamics, language, and requirements. At the same time, we assist directors in gaining deeper insights into the actor’s point of view, enabling more effective communication and the attainment of the desired performance.

You will have a clear understanding of how to approach the screenplay, what the camera wants from you, and you'll be able to reach – safely & comfortably – emotional availability on cue.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll receive the footage from your own individual session. Scenes and monologues will be shot by a qualified Director of Photography and can be added to each participant’s showreel.
